"Con Kleenex Celebra tu Hispanidad" / "Express your Hispanic Pride with Kleenex"

La marca Kleenex celebra el Mes de la Hispanidad presentando las obras ganadoras del concurso "Con Kleenex Expresa tu Hispanidad" en sus cajas de panuelos faciales. A principios de este ano 600 personas participaron, y los tres ganadores fueron:

1) Jaime Maldonado de Chicago, quien creo "Celebracion", en sus propias palabras " expresa el espiritu y la energia de independencia de los paises latinoamericanos"

2) Paula Lagioia de Miami, quien creo "Colores Hispanos", un despliegue de matices, formas y colores que abundan en la cultura hispana.

3) Jessica DelCarpio de Nueva York, quien creo "Simplemente Hispano" retratando un arduo dia de trabajo en el campo.

Las fotos estaran a la venta en los meses de Septiembre y Octubre. Felicidades a los ganadores y a comprar Kleenex!!

The Kleenex brand is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing Hispanic-inspired art on three of its facial tissue boxes. Earlier this year 600 people participated in a nationwide art contest "Express your Hispanic Pride With Kleenex" ("Con Kleenex Expresa tu Hispanidad). The three winning artist were:

1) Jaime Maldonado of Chicago who created "Celebración" (Celebration) In his own words "expresses the spirit and energetic independence of Latin American countries"

2) Paula Lagioia of Miami who created "Colores Hispanos" (Hispanic Colors), consisting of a radiant array of shapes and colors that abound within the Latin culture.

3) Jessica DelCarpio of New York City who created "Simplemente Hispano" (Simply Hispanic), depicting a hard day of work in the fields.

The boxes are due to be on store shelves during the months of September and October. Congratulations to the winners and let's get some kleenex this month!!

    I love your use of two languages! Maybe it will help to reinforce the two semesters of Spanish I had in college, as being an older student it was not as easy to retain a new language.

    I look forward to reading more! :D
