Filtros solares 2/sunscreens 2

Cuando chequé los comentarios a mi artículo anterior, encontré uno que escribió María quien amablemente me sugirió la página web de skin deep cosmetic safety database, que es una base de datos con información de ingredientes de productos cosméticos en el mercado. ¡Es una lástima que la información solo este en inglés!. Lo importante es que busqué los dos filtros solares de los que hable antes. A Blue Lizard le dan una categoría de 2 (en una escala de 0 a 10 siendo 10 el peor), así que en ese sentido me siento tranquila. Neutrogena, este es otro cantar, la mayoría de los filtros solares recibieron una categoría de 7 con la excepción de uno que obtuvo un 2. Sin embargo no encontré en la base de datos información sobre el filtro solar para bebés (posiblemente es muy nuevo), asi que me quedé en las mismas. En conclusión, creo que Blue Lizard es una buena opción para mi, pero también consideraré los productos de California Baby sobre todo si los encuentro en descuento, ya que se orientan hacia el lado "cariñosito" :). ¡Gracias Maria por el tip!

When I checked the comments to my previous article, I read a post by Maria who kindly suggested to me the environmental working group's skin deep cosmetic safety database, which I did check out.  OMG what a source of information about both ingredients and products. There's too much info to cover it all here, so check it out for comprehensive research on the products in which you are interested.  But I would like to mention that I searched for the two sunscreens I talked about earlier, and, well, blue lizard got a 2 (on a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being the worst) so I still feel good about it, but most neutrogena products got 7,  except for one which got a 2.  I have to say, though, there are no studies in the database on the new neutrogena baby sunscreen which left me in the dark about it.  So after I read the info I still like the blue lizard, but I will go for California Baby products as well, especially if I find them at a discount, since they are a little on the pricey side.
