ENGLISH

Vivacious, nearing thirty, and with her biological clock ticking louder and louder, Julie Powell is trapped in a cubicle taking phone calls all day in her secretarial job and she has just moved into a tiny, noisy, fixer upper apartment. One day while talking with her husband she decides to start a project to motivate her to get up every morning. With her love for cooking, she realizes her perfect project would be to prepare the 524 recipes contained in Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking". And not only that, she will do it in 365 days and blog about her experiences. Not a small task! I'm a blogger, I know, and it's a delicious combination.

Julie is fun, impulsive, and curses every time she has the opportunity. While sharing the details of recipes, she also shares stories about her family, friends and marriage.

Julie doesn't eat eggs... so imagine her experience when she has to cook and sample them! And you cannot miss the hilarious chapter about the bone marrow recipe, I couldn't stop laughing and the person next to me on the plane thought I was going hazelnutty. Anyway, "Julie and Julia" will leave you with a sweet aftertaste.
