Aquí les tengo otro sorteo de fotografía. Digital Room, ha ofrecido a uno de mis lectores (1) una Fotografía en poster 18x24", (¡gastos de envío gratis!). Por favor visita la página web de Digital Room y checa los ejemplos dando click en el menú donde dice "idea gallery". A mi me gustaría tener una foto tamaño poster de mi hijo con su uniforme practicando su deporte favorito en este momento, futból soccer, por supuesto!; o bien, una foto poster de mi familia en México para que mis hijos "los vean" todos los días. Y ahora que lo pienso mejor, me gusta más esta última opción :)

I love the idea of having a poster sized picture of my son doing his favorite activity, soccer, or maybe a poster of my family in Mexico so my children can "see them" every day. I think the later, now that I consider it a little more. :)

ALMA Awards

El sábado por la noche después de un largo día de actividades y de poner a dormir a los niños, prendí la televisión y con sorpresa vi que estaban transmitiendo la entrega de los premios ALMA. Y digo con sorpresa porque si no hubiera prendido la tele, me lo hubiera perdido. ¡Debí haberlo puesto en el calendario caray! Si ustedes se lo perdieron aquí les traigo un par de videos para que se preparen para el año que viene, uno es un promocional mostrando clips de años anteriores y el segundo es la bella actuación de David Archuleta (segundo lugar en American Idol 2008) cantando "Contigo en la Distancia". ¡Qué los disfruten!

Saturday night after a loooooong day of activities and after putting the kids to bed I sat at my kitchen table and turned on the TV. I was surprised to find the ALMA Awards on ABC. I cannot believe I didn't have it on my calendar! I would have missed it if I hadn't turned on the TV by chance. If you missed it, too, here are a couple of videos, so you're ready for next year. The first one is a promotional-recap of highlights from previous years, the second is a beautiful presentation of David Archuleta (American Idol 2008 runner up) singing "Contigo en la Distancia". ¿Recuerdan que hace algunos días les hablé de la fiesta de Halloween con Mickey en Disneylandia (California)? pues ahora les tengo que hablar de la fiesta de-no-mucho-espanto de Mickey en Disney World en Orlando. Esta es una celebración que a sus hijos les encantará. Podrán disfrutar de sus personajes favoritos disfrazados, un desfile con Mickey, juegos pirotécnicos, dulces, música y mucho más.

Este evento se llevará a cabo de las 7 p.m a las 12:00 a.m en los siguientes días:

A few days ago I told you about the Mickey's Treat or Trick party at Disneyland (California). So now I'm telling you about the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World (Orlando). You and your family can enjoy Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating throughout the Magic Kingdom theme park, Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular, characters decked out in their favorite costumes, music, and much more.

This event will be held from 7 pm-12 am on the following dates:
